Royal Park is an upcoming master-planned complete community that provides a new amenity-rich Town Centre, diverse housing options and most importantly; park spaces. Welcome to Royal Park!
Approximately 700 acres in size, the community of Royal Park will include an active and vibrant town centre, a variety of parks, and open space connections that include a high school site, an elementary school site and various pathways and open play spaces. Additionally, residential areas of different scales and densities will help fulfill the Town Centre Neighbourhood Plan vision.
As the design of Royal Park unfolded, distinct districts began to develop. Focused around the idea of a central park or providing a unique greenspace, individual neighbourhoods became apparent. Small in scale, yet unique in character, the neighbourhoods are reminiscent of the boroughs of London. The unique boroughs, coupled with the knowledge that The Town of White City was originally named after White City in London, gave rise to the overarching theme of Royal Park.
Royal Park will have a unique atmosphere and sense of place, tied together through strong architectural controls and public features. The town centre; historically inspired, yet fresh in design, will be pedestrian oriented, walkable, social-focused and vibrant; truly inspired and reminiscent of a London town centre. The surrounding boroughs will be residential in nature, focused on greenspaces and encouraging a strong sense of ownership.
